Weather

October in Budapest brings crisp, cool autumn weather, with average daytime temperatures around 16°C (61°F) and cooler nights dropping to about 7–8°C (44–46°F). You can expect some rainy day, but the rain is usually light to moderate. Sunshine is limited to about 5 to 6 hours per day, and daylight hours gradually shorten, so it’s a good idea to plan your sightseeing earlier in the day.
